When it comes to owning an automobile, most people in the United States buy a used car for their first vehicle and look forward to the time in the future when they can afford to buy new. When that time comes, it can be an important milestone in a person’s life. Next to buying a home, it is one of the most important investments of a lifetime. For that reason it is important to take cautious and carefully researched steps when buying a new car.
The first step is finding the right car. This is the easy part and probably the most enjoyable. With all the information that is available on the internet, it is easy to do quality research about all the different makes and models of new cars. First, it is important to decide what kind of car will suit you best. Do you need a sedan, a compact, a mid-size, or heavy-duty truck? Once that is decided, the next step is to research the best options in that category and so on until it is narrowed down as far as possible. It also might be a good idea to consult with friends and experts and ask them what they’ve owned, what has worked, and what their favorite car is and why.
Once the desired vehicle is picked, the next step is researching prices. Before you even set foot in a dealership, you will want to find out what the invoice price is on the vehicle. That is the price that the dealership pays for the vehicle. Don’t expect to get that price. The dealer needs to make a profit or it will go broke. But once you know that price, you can compare with other sticker prices for the vehicle and have a better idea of what a reasonable price for the vehicle is.
The most important part of buying a new car is research. If you do your research and know what is available, you can go into a dealership knowledgeable and informed, which will be essential in getting the best possible price for your vehicle.

Who hasn’t bought a new car, driven off the lot, and immediately felt like they’ve been taken? I know that the last deal I made before finding any effective new car buying secrets left me feeling raw for months. Three things you can do to help your position are to plan ahead before you go, arrange your own financing, and choose the correct time to shop for a new car. These are the start of insiders’ new car buying secrets.
A new vehicle is one of the largest single purchases you can make, and yet most people bought their current vehicle through impulse. Think about it, the current cost of the average new vehicle is equal to a very modest home mortgage! Planning ahead and knowing WHAT you want as well as what your budget is can be the difference between finding an awesome new ride and being taken for one!
Understanding that the “financing package” a dealership offers you is actually another product they are selling you along with the vehicle. You should never get into a situation where the salesman knows more about your credit status than you do. Know your credit before you start shopping, and see what kind of loans you can get from your bank before hand. Certainly having a better financial bargaining chip is one of the most effective new car buying secrets.
Is there really a better time to buy a new car? Folks who understand new car buying secrets will state emphatically that there is. Dealers are under pressure to make sales and perform. If you can understand these time cycles, you can use them to your advantage.
These are just a few important new car buying secrets. Choosing the right time, knowing what you want ahead of time, and planning your own financing will go a long way towards getting you the best deal possible. However, if you truly want the insider’s edge on your next car purchase, get the dealer’s play book of persuasion tactics and learn how to beat them at their own game.
Whether you are looking for a new car, used car, want to lease, or have a trade, Taking the House Edge can help you save thousands on your next purchase.

The Honda CRZ is an impressive car in the line-up of Honda, and the abbreviation CRZ, refers to Compact Renaissance Zero. It is a hybrid gasoline electric automobile, which was planned and developed for production by the Japanese automaker Honda. The body style of the car is hatchback. Initially CRZ was released as a concept car by CEO of Honda Takeo Fukui on 23rd of October, 2007 at the Tokyo Auto Show held in 2007. Later on, Fukui announced that a production model is under progress and the car is meant to be incredibly efficient, cheap and sporty. Honda CRZ was first produced in America at the Detroit North American International Auto Show held in 2008. It uses the Integrated Motor Assist System of Honda.
Two hybrid concept cars were introduced after the production of CRZ. One is Honda Remix, which was released at the Los Angeles Motor Show held in 2006. The other one was the Honda Small Hybrid Sports, which was released at the Geneva Motor Show held in 2007. The CRZ with four seats is considered as the spiritual heir to the second generation of Honda CRX in both design and name.
According to the reports of Automotive News Europe, Honda plans to flatten the production of CRZ in the year 2009 or 2010, initially in Europe, before elaborating the distribution and production to other nations of the world. The approximate cost of the Honda CRZ is 25,000 Euros and primarily pitched to the markets of Europe. The cost of the car will be 28,000 Euros along with higher trim models. Due to the importance of Honda CRZ on the continent of Europe, Mark Turner of Honda UK says that there will be a lot of influence by Europe on the final stage of design of the car.
Many reports made by Edmunds inside-line suggest that the arrival of Honda CRZ in North America will be after the launch of Honda Insight in the early times of 2009, which is a hybrid vehicle with five doors. Confirmation about the production of Honda CRZ was granted at the 2008 end of the year speech, which was given by Takeo Fukui. From the speech the production of CRZ will be started by the end of the year 2010. After the production of the car, it will become a model which provides a new value of the joy of driving, which can be provided only by a hybrid vehicle.

I remember it well! I was on a fast stretch of road, but keeping to the limit for that stretch. I came towards a village, where the speed limit dropped by 20mph. Obviously I slowed down, and continued to slow. The road curved round to the left and went downhill. All this within about 100 yards of the slow down sign. And guess who was waiting for me at the bottom of the bend? Yes, you guessed it, the boys in blue. Radar detectors continued ...
